four free watercolor invitation templates

When I saw this beautiful watercolor clip art by Create the Cut, I knew I just had to make something with it. Watercolor is notoriously difficult to do well because it requires a light touch and an expert's eye. And these images are done just right. So I created these four designs, which together create essentially a free wedding invitation maker. Or they can be an any-party invitation maker, for that matter, because these blank templates will also work for birthdays, Mother's Day, christenings, baby showers, retirement parties, anniversaries, and on and on.

I suspect many people will find them particularly useful for weddings though. Just download the zip file below and you'll have free wedding invitation templates for Word, Photoshop or other graphics software. Scroll down to the Instructions section if you need help editing them.

Instructions

You might need a zip program to unzip the art. If so, and you use Windows, try 7Zip, which is free and open source.

I've already provided instructions for using blank invite templates in Microsoft Word. Just visit my New Year's Eve invitations page and scroll down to the Tips for Customizing the Invitations section. There are also links on that page to graphics programs. I use Photoshop Elements to create all my art (so much more user-friendly than the full Photoshop version!) but if it's not in your budget to buy software, there's a link to a site that lists five free graphics programs.

DIY TIP: You can also use these blank templates as thank you notes or save the date cards by cropping the art.

Hmm, I'm not sure why you can't print them. Sorry about that!

See if downloading them separately from this file will help: https://app.box.com/s/1nq0d7qwdix3pcr2yiz5mu60dt1h33o1

If that doesn't work, please contact Carla using the email address on the Contact link at the top of the blog.
